The FOSS4G and OpenStreetMap communities of Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands are gathering for 4 incredible days of exploring open source geospatial tech & open data.

The overall event is made up of a full day of workshops, a 2 day conference, a free Community Day, and social events in the vibrant city of Melbourne.

Come join us to learn about the latest tech, share stories, and meet like-minded people from across our region!

Hey Parents! We're pleased to let you know that FOSS4G SotM Oceania is a child-friendly conference. What does this mean?

FOSS4G SotM Oceania is hosting a contribution-sprint Community Day on the final day of the conference, Friday 23rd of November, in the Old Arts Building at the University of Melbourne. Participation in the Community Day will be free-of-charge and all participants will be welcome, regardless of their involvement with the large conference or not.

We're working towards a diverse FOSS4G SotM Oceania, so we're pleased to finally announce our Travel Grant Program.

Under this program, we're offering free conference and workshop registration, along with financial support to assist with travel costs. Up to $1000 will be available to recipients who otherwise may not be able to attend.
